Clarence is airing on Mountain Stage the week of June 5th on your local stations. NPR did a piece on Clarence, here is an excerpt:

"The career of singer, songwriter and guitarist Clarence Bucaro has hit an artistic apex with the release of his latest album, 'Til Spring. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Bucaro ambled around the country before trying his hand at music, first studying at Ohio State, then taking a long summer to hike the Appalachian Trail before finally moving to New Orleans.

His first set of demos, Sweet Corn — and its follow-up, Sense of Light — didn't fully display Bucaro's creativity. But after a move to New York, a newfound love and a depressing winter, Bucaro drew upon two main sources for 'Til Spring: the 1938 Jon Fante novel Wait Until Spring, Bandini and You Must Believe in Spring, recorded in 1977 by the jazz pianist Bill Evans."
